Wow, this week went by really fast.
Spring break was AWESOME!!! Canada was so fun. It had the potential to really be bad but everything went so well that I was VERY excited. On our first night there we went to the Cactus club cafe and had some really yummy beverages there. Then we went to the establishment that was next to the hotel to have some more beverages. There was a band there and they were pretty good. Me and Mary and Kaylene danced, there were some pretty skanky older women there. It was slightly disturbing. Then Mary and I got accosted by a very drunk man who wanted to purchase Mary some beverages, but he had no money. We said that that was OK but then since we wouldn't give him our numbers wanted us to by him a drink... It was kinda funny, until he called us "lesbi-friends" and this old man heard him and stopped to talk. Then the enebriated man suggested that we have a four-some. At that point we told him that we had to go to our boyfriends. We then informed Matt and Dylan that they had to play along if we asked them to. The next day we went to the aquarium. It was SO cool. They had sharks, and a big ass sea turtle. It was way cool. We saw a dolphin show. His name was Skip, and he did tricks for us. I love dolphins they have to be one of my fave animals. Then we went to go watch the sea otters get fed. There were two of them in the little pool area and they were really cute, but then J got me and showed me the other otter. He was doing somersaults in the water and trying to get up on this high ledge. He was soooo cute. It was funny to watch. We found the sea lions and I gave them voices. I thought it was funny. I think Kaylene and Jeremiah were kinda frightened of me though.
That night we got dressed up to go out to dinner. The girls made the guys leave for an hour so we could get ready. It was fun having girl time. Everyone looked way cute when we went out. It was fun.
The next day was shopping and staying in night. We had a good time. Matt fed homeless people doughnuts and was real proud of himself. It was funny. I was a glow worm... I sang the glow worm song too... Glow little glow worm glimmer glimmer... it was funny. It was so fun. I was sad when we had to go on Tuesday. Canada is great and I would highly suggest going if you have a chance.
So onto the term. Its going well so far. My classes are all reasonably interesting. My spanish teacher I think might just be crazy though. My geology teacher is from Austrialia and he is way cool. And funny. Not as cute as last term but still seems cool enough. I'm taking a class on the holocaust with Mary, Jeremiah, Dylan, Matt, Mike Nagel, and Jessica McCabe. That class seems like its going to be really good, depressing and I'm sure I'll end up crying at some point, but good. So yeah. I'm way excited because I get to see two of my friends tonight who I haven't seen in a little over a year so I can't wait!
