So... That's not quite what happened on Torchwood, but whatevs. Jack, sweetie, you're looking a little desperate there. I don't expect you to play hard to get or anything, but there is such a thing as pride, man! I'm a little embarassed for you and your backpack. Also, I find it interesting that the Doctor sees Jack and still decides to leave. I can't wait to see how this turns out!

I don't follow Torchwood but I've seen that final scene in the season finale with Jack following the sound of the Tardis. So that's the first we'll see of him? Not quite how I pictured it but I'm glad to see him back nonetheless.

I'm feeling quite perturbed by this clip. For all of those reasons you mentioned:
1. Continuity, anyone? The TARDIS landed in the Hub in "End of Days," hence the wind and noise and Jack disappearing into thin air.
2. Torchwood!Jack doesn't really seem like the type to go chasing after the Doctor quite so desperately. I'm starting to worry that they're gonna gloss over all the character development from Torchwood when he shows up in this season of Doctor Who, you know, like if they think he's too dark for the kiddies. I will be quite peeved if they've undone all that brilliant character development.
3. The Doctor just LEFT him?? Again?? Or tried to, anyways? He better have a damned good reason. Really really damned good. It better involve reapers, too.

But aside from all that, Jack's back yaaaay! :-P

It's Doctor Who, so I don't expect much in the way of continuity, but I think the TARDIS showing up on the rift and not the hub is gonna bug me.

I'm just hoping there's some anger and angst on Jack's part, possibly some hitting, and then making out. Mostly the last part.

Ok,I don`t get why he`s chasing him,when the TARDIS obviously picked him up inside the Torchwood Hub?
Is that supposed to be part of that scene,or is something else going on.

Interested to know why he`s ignoring him...
But Jack clinging onto the TARDIS is just so cool!
