Doctor Who

That was fantastic. I wasn't that excited to watch it since I knew it was the Doctor light episode, but it was awesome. I love stories that are told out of sequence like that. Where it doesn't all make sense until the end. Like the bit with the tie in Smith and Jones.

I especially liked the bit at the end, with the montage of statues. Now I'm going to be creeped out whenever I see them. Thanks a lot, Moffat!

I liked the cast. Doctor Who is kind of hit or miss when it comes to the acting abilities of the guest cast, but I thought they did a great job. I quite liked Sally and was a little sad that Hot Cop had to die.

Poor Martha. She kind of got the short end of the Traveling Through Space and Time stick. Just got out of 1913 and now she has to be stuck in 1969 working in a shop to support the Doctor. Hee. He can't find a job? Isn't he supposed to be brilliant? What does he do all day? Watch television? Do you suppose they were all domestic and he would have dinner on the table when she got home?

I hope someone is planning to write some Stuck In 1969 porn. Look, half the joke is in the year. You can't tell me I'm the only one who thought of that. It's like they want us to porn them.

Captain Jack next week! WOO!

I just finished watching it and I'm afraid to go to bed now! LOL. That was just an awesome episode. They keep getting better and better. I liked the girl who played Sally, she reminded me a bit of a blond Kate Holmes, very pretty. When the doctor told Billy his machine will boil an egg from afar and than he tends to stay away from hens because it wasn't pretty when they explode, I about peed my pants. I love the Doctor's zingers like that.

Let me know when you find that 1969 porn....that is going to be some good stuff.

Captain Jack!!! I can't frelling wait!!

The hen line made me laugh so hard. The little amount of the Doctor and Martha was used very well.

JAAAAACK! I had better be awesome!

It was wondrously creepy! And we'll never be able to look at statuary quite the same way, ever again. ;)

i'm stalking your journal because you're a friend of andre's, and he was looking at your friends page and saw this. i just exposed him to doctor who for the first time today (he hadn't heard of the classic series either), first by showing him Rose, and then showing him Blink because there was a great deal of hype about it and i couldn't wait to watch it.

and yeah. that might surpass Dalek as my favorite episode of the new Who so far. *might*. Who would have thought that the followup episode to Human Nature/Family of Blood could be so amazing?

anyway, the real reason i'm posting is that if you're interested, you should join the [livejournal.com profile] doctorwho comm. it's frelling huge, and generally very friendly.

well. and to say "hi there."

so. hi there. :)

Hi! Feel free to stalk me all you want. :)

What did Andre think of Doctor Who? I can't believe he hasn't watched it before.

You know, I'm not sure why I haven't joined that comm before now. I'm in enough other DW comms, I should go join.

i got andre hooked. :)

i'll probably end up burning all of the avis i have of the new series and torchwood for him before he leaves here. if i have room i may throw in some classic stuff too, althogh i don't have as much of it as i'd like.

beware that that dw community is frickin *heavy* traffic especially during season time, but it's still fun, and the people there are neat.

hi there. :) i'm mendel.
