Well, that wasn't as good as I thought it would be.
Kidding! Oh man, that was fantastic. Except all the Rose mentions have me worried. Martha is going to do something dumb and get herself killed in the finale isn't she? Because she thinks she's not as good as Rose. Oh, beautiful wonderful Martha. You're AT LEAST as good as Rose. Which I think is an unpopular opinion on my flist, but I totally don't care. Martha = rocking hotness and deserves way better than the lousy Doctor. If he doesn't tell her how awesome she is, I'm freaking going to build her her own time machine, let her pick up Sarah Jane and they can have lesbian subtexts while traveling through time and space saving the universe from the stupid shit the Doctor does.
Jack! Dear, sweet, angsty Jack. I love you and how the Doctor left you because he's a dirty racist. I love that you were pissy, but still happy to see him. I love that you made the "unless they're a blonde" comment. I love that you called him cheeky. And yes, I like that you asked about Rose, it would have been weird if you didn't. And you had subtexts with Martha and Ten, so you are WIN. You were weirdly nonsexual on Torchwood and I like that seeing the Doctor gave you your groove back. If you haven't already done so, please be getting on with the sexing.
THE MASTER = FTW! I knew when he was acting all sketch after Martha started talking about the TARDIS that something was up with him, and then when he pulled out the watch I was SO excited because he was going to be The Master. And when Martha told him about the watch the Doctor just knew who it would be. Who else would it be? He finally finds out there's another Time Lord out there, so of course it's going to be his nemesis. That's just the way his life works. Poor guy. Bet he's sitting there thinking, "why couldn't it have been Romana?" She would have smacked him around and told him to get over this Rose business or she was taking Martha for herself.
This is going to be so awesome. I haven't quite worked out how Team TARIDS is getting out of there, but I'm assuming it has to do with the Doctor fixing Jack's time thingamajig.
I like the show so much more when there's another person traveling with them. I wish Jack didn't have to go back to Torchwood.

I'm really liking John Simm's somewhat manic Master and there's a very interesting dynamic going on between him and the Doctor. I totally wasn't expecting the watch!
