This news is pleasing. I wasn't ready to give up David just yet. I was ready to be rid of RTD, I really wanted The Moff to take over, but I can live with it. I'm gonna be going through Doctor withdrawal though.

It's such a double-edged sword. I love RTD, I really do, but I love Moffat as well--and he'll be fantastic. But, a year with minimal DW? *sad cries* Hopefully this means that the Beeb is trying to keep David for S5.

Yeah, I'll be going through withdrawls, but the only reason I can see for doing this is in the hope that they'll get to keep David for series 5. Otherwise it would make sense to just have a regeneration at the end of S4.

oh wow. I didn't think they'd do this since I thought they would just go and get another new Doctor. I hope and pray they keep David around for S5.

I know. I thought for sure that we'd be getting another Doctor. I'm glad they're doing this if it means he's gonna stay.
