Wind in the sails...
Hey guys! So, it's been like two weeks since I posted and I didn't want you all to think I was dead or anything. So I'm still alive. Just haven't been around much because work has fucked up my TV schedule and I tend to avoid my flist until I've seen my shows because I don't have the will power not to click links and spoil myself. And I always feel sort of bad about posting to my journal but not reading my flist. Is that weird?
Not much new. We got a new kitten. She's ADORABLE. She was born the day before my birthday, so clearly it was meant to be. Her name is Bela, and yes, my mother did name her after Bela from SPN. Because my mom is AWESOME. And so is Bela. She had a hard time choosing between Bela and Chloe, and my little fannish heart was so happy, I didn't really care which name she picked. Anyway, Bela is grey with a white stripe going up her side and she loves attacking feet. And climbing up on you shoulder/head and just chilling there for a while. I told Mom we should have named her Cotton's Parrot. If I can remember where I put my camera, I'll post pictures later.

*American Idol = WIN
*Doctor Who = EXTRA WIN WITH DONNA ON TOP
*Doctor Who News = Pretty awesome
*House = REAL GOOD.
*Bones = I don't have the problems with it some people did.
*Smallville = Whatever. Also, if Remus and Sirius taught me anything, it's that 'like a brother' really means HOT GAY BOYFRIENDS FOREVER.
*SPN = Dudes, my show has issues. I don't really think you can deny that. That said, I can't wait to see what they do next season.

I haven't watched Smallville in two seasons, but every once in a while the long-dormant Clex fan in me stirs. Then sighs, realizes the show would only crush dreams, and settles back down again.

Yeah, yeah, I know he's supposed to be evil and all that, and I'm under the impression that nowadays he's really really really evil. It's just that the last time I checked in (which now that I looked it up, was three seasons ago), he had a better moral compass than any of the Kents. That's why I had to quit, in the end. I was turning into a crazed Lex fangirl, with the show was enraging me on a regular basis. Best for my sanity to quit. :)
