You're killing me, Smalls!

I don't own The Sandlot!

[livejournal.com profile] rain_dances and I were talking about loving sports movies and TV shows and how baseball is the best sport of all time, and she asked me what my favorite baseball movie was. The answer is The Sandlot, followed closely by ALL THE REST OF THEM (OMG BASEBALL IS SO AWESOME). So I really wanted to watch it, but I don't own it! I thought I did! How do I not own it? *goes to rectify this situation*

Baseball is, in fact, the best sport ever.

I love my Cubbies. :)

It is so great. Baseball is the sport of the GODS.

[identity profile] pie-is-good.livejournal.com 2007-04-29 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
It really is! I hate everyone who says it's boring. It's SO NOT. I love my sport.

Oddly enough, though, my favorite sports movie is Remember the Titans and has nothing to do with baseball.

...and I hate football.

I blame Denzel Washington.

It's supposed to be hard. If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it grea

It's so not boring. It's fantastic.

Remember the Titans is one of the greatest sports movies ever made. I have a deep deep love for it. But then again, I really like football. Not as much as baseball though.

I know, I love the movie so so much. Everyone is just so fantastic in it.

Favorite baseball movie has to be Field of Dreams, though. :)

Or A League of Their Own! I always forget about that with baseball movies for some reason.

This is our other daughter, Dottie's Sister.

[identity profile] bubbles83.livejournal.com 2007-04-29 06:05 am (UTC)(link)
I love A League of Their Own. A lot. I always had a secret desire for Dottie to leave her husband and run off with Jimmy.

There's no crying in baseball!

[identity profile] pie-is-good.livejournal.com 2007-04-29 06:13 am (UTC)(link)
Doesn't everyone have that desire? They're awesome together. ^_^

Hi, my name's Mae, and that's more than a name, that's an attitude.

Really? I'm not the only one? OH THANK GOODNESS! I thought I was all alone.

Start using your head. That's the lump that's three feet above your ass.

[identity profile] pie-is-good.livejournal.com 2007-04-29 06:32 am (UTC)(link)
No way! Maybe we're all alone, but you're not! The scene on the bus especially.

[identity profile] rain-dances.livejournal.com 2007-04-29 05:21 am (UTC)(link)
OH NOES!!!

You know, I don't think I own it either, which is clearly unacceptable.

Actually, a lot of the sports movies I have are on VHS. I should really upgrade them. Because they are necessary things to have.

[identity profile] bubbles83.livejournal.com 2007-04-29 05:25 am (UTC)(link)
I really thought I owned it. How can I not own it?

I don't actually own most of the sports movies in my house. They're my mom's. Or my dad's, but I like to watch them. The Rookie is the only time I've seen a movie make my dad cry.

[identity profile] goodtoast.livejournal.com 2007-04-29 05:32 am (UTC)(link)
Mua ha ha ha ha. I own it.

Actually, I own WAY too many baseball films. No, you can never own enough baseball films. I have a soft spot for Field of Dreams and The Natural though. Classic.

Crap. Let's do this again with proper html

[identity profile] bubbles83.livejournal.com 2007-04-29 05:44 am (UTC)(link)
I hate you. I really can't believe I don't own that movie.

Field of Dreams is a great movie.

Perhaps my next random poll will be about baseball.
