The most comfortable pair of sandals I've ever owned.

For a long time I avoided Crocs. I thought they were ugly and how could rubber shoes be comfortable. I still think that about those gardening shoe clog things. (Umm... no offense to those of you who might have them) But my mom got me the best pair of sandals ever.

It's almost like I'm not wearing shoes at all. And since I like to walk around barefoot, that's perfect. They come in fun colors too! If you're looking for a new pair of sandals this summer, I recommend these ones.

Go check them out.

I have the gardening shoe clog things, and they are ugly. I only use them for gardening, and sometimes for walking the dog around the neighborhood. They are mostly comfortable, but there's the problem of dirt getting in through the holes!

But those sandals do look comfy, and reasonably attractive, too.

Yeah, I always thought that the holes in the shoes would let dirt in when you're gardening. It's nice that you can just hose them down though.

They are SO comfy. I love them.

Wow, those are so much more aesthetically pleasing than those hideous crock cloggy things.

I'm on the hunt for new sandles, so those are now in the running, though I'm leaning more towards a pair of Reefs (most genius pair of sandles EVER (http://www.reef.com/productdetail/girls/footwear/sandals/1626) - seriously, check the info)

When my mom said she ordered me some Crocs, I said thanks, but in my head I was thinking, "OH GOD? WHY WOULD SHE DO THAT TO ME?" But then she showed them to me, and they are much nicer than the cloggy shoes.

Those do look pretty awesome. I'll have to keep them in mind when I'm looking for sandals again. My mom and I are always on the look out of good sandals to wear when we're in Vegas.

And the handy church key is a major bonus.

They have other, prettier sandles, but they don't come with all the other "equipment"

I like the "equipment". Pretty good selling point! :)

PS.

It's not rubber, but plastic.

LMAO CROCS EXPERT HERE.

DON'T MESS WITH MY FAMILY BUSINESS, LOL!

[identity profile] bubbles83.livejournal.com 2007-07-13 02:17 am (UTC)(link)
Huh. I did not know that. I always thought they were some sort of rubber.

Is it really your family business? Cool.

[identity profile] gabsy.livejournal.com 2007-07-14 07:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, the Crocs company itself isn't, but it's my aunt and uncle who started the original company and invented the product. Crocs just bought them a few years ago.

I dont own any but Crocs seem very soft (when i touch them) and I hear there made of soy so you can boil them and eat them if your lost in the woods or something :3
