HA HA! Last night I dreamed Mike Rowe friended my journal.

It's supposed to be 90 here today. :( TOO HOT.

So yesterday was a looooong day at work, and my mom new I wasn't looking forward to it, so when she took my sisters shopping she bought me a Wembley doll. :) I love my mom. She's so awesome.

So, thanks to rustydog, I spent the majority of my morning on The Grammar Vandal. I love blogs like that. Despite the fact that I have horrible grammar, I always find them hilarious.

The Grammar Vandal made me want to check out Overheard in New York, which I haven't done in a while, and I found my new best friend. It's like when some people hear like 3 seconds of a song and can identify it.

Guys! GUYS! This is the greatest thing EVER! Make yourself the heroine in a romance novel! Pick the hero! They let you make little demos so you can see what it would be like. I ABSOLUTELY DID NOT PUT MY NAME IN THE PIRATE STORY WITH KEITH OLBERMANN. Or Jensen and myself into the vampire story. Because that's sort of creepy and I'm not creepy. AT ALL. No matter how badly I wanted to star in a medieval romance with Jared, I DID NOT DO IT. But really, the previews are HILARIOUS.

I had to make Rodney a girl because they don't have a same sex romance option, but OMG Y'ALL!

Meredith had to admit he was a rather attractive man, neatly attired in denim and leather. She scanned his athletic frame and stopped at an arresting pair of hazel eyes peeking out beneath a rather large cowboy hat, set atop dark brown hair. The stranger approached the bar, wearing a smoldering smile across a handsomely rugged jaw.

"What can I do for you?" she said coolly.

"What's your specialty," he flirted, leaning against the bar, flashing his big hazels.

"Sarcasm," was the sharp reply. "Care for a double?" Meredith had spent the morning cleaning the saloon's eaves troughs and was feeling filthy, embarrassed and annoyed all at the same time. She was in no mood for flirtation.

Put in his place, John cleared his throat and introduced himself as John Sheppard, a foreman with the Grand Humber railroad. "Ma'am, just call me John," he said, trying to make amends.

"Well the guy you're looking for? The hotel manager? That's me. I'm also the owner, Meredith McKay," she said coolly, giving a little and extending her hand.

AND! AS A BONUS! You can do the same thing with children's books! I had a bunch of Christmas books like that(but a lot shorter) when I was little, and I thought they were pretty awesome.

Oh man. You guys should go check out the Stargate Messaging site. It's a great way to waste time.

Guys, today is my brother's 18th birthday. That is CRAZY! I can't believe he's old enough to buy porn. We had a party and birthday dinner for him last night because he has to work today. He got some pretty cool stuff. I got him a Red Baron VCR game, that has no directions so I hope when we put the VCR in it has the directions. It looks kind of dumb, but I saw it at a second hand store and thought it would be funny. I got him a couple other things too, but that's the interesting one.

I'm leaving for Mexico in less than a week, and I am so far from ready it isn't even funny. I have no idea what I'm taking, I need to clean my room, I'm pretty sure I need to see if I can find some tank tops someplace, I've never been out of the country (well, okay, Canada, but they still speak English there, so it wasn't a big deal) and I'm freaking out a little. My Spanish is HORRIBLE, and I know I'm going to feel like a moron.

In non-freaking out news, if this rumor comes true, I will be so happy I might pee my pants.

PS: The love meme reached it's max comments, so I posted a note to the people who left me comments over there. If you want to leave me extra love, I wouldn't mind it. ;) If you leave you name over there let me know! I want to give you all tons of love!

So, the power cord for my laptop died. AGAIN. That's the second one to die since I got my computer in March. I looked at the customer comments on the website and apparently this is a common problem. Yay me. At least it's still under warranty so Dell will send me a new one. They usually ship pretty fast, so hopefully I'll have it by Saturday. I probably won't get it until Monday though. So if you want to know why I'm not around, that's why.

And Stephen Colbert brings joy and light into my life.

I watched approximately nine bajillion episodes of QI yesterday. I quite fancy Alan Davies. And now you can tell I've been watching too much British television because I just said I 'quite fancy' someone. Anyway, I've always loved Stephen Fry, he's stupendous. And Alan Davies is adorable and I'd like to take one home with me.

I also watched the first three episodes of The Horns of Nimon. It is the most best serial ever, and if you say otherwise I will BANNINATE you FOREVER.

I'm gonna watch the last episode when I get home from work. I also need to watch Chuck and Heroes as I didn't get to watch them yesterday. :( And I need to watch The Mind Robber because parrotfish mentioned it and it is fabulous. THE DOCTOR WRITES FANFICTION.

I missed Countdown last night, but they put How To Talk To Bill O'Reilly's Stalker Producer In A Way That Guarantees The Interview Doesn't Get On The Air up on the website. You should check it out.
