AKA:The Unbearable Hotness of Rodney McKay
So I think this is mostly in chronological order, but I'm not sure.
From the second the Odyssey came out of hyperspace and we saw Daniel's head down on the table I was grinning ear to ear. Cam waking him up? Made of cuteness. "Let's see what Santa brought." Aww
Then Daniel skipped onto the bridge. He was so cute looking at the city. So excited, and I was excited for him. After all this time, Daniel finally made it to Atlantis!
The conference room scene was fun. Rodney and Sam are so cute together. And John! "If he speaks again, I'll shoot him." Even on the other show John can't help pulling Rodney's pigtails. The love, man. It's there, they can't even hide it on a show that isn't theirs.
Hee. He gave Cam a lemon to help deal with Rodney. I just can't put my love for John Sheppard into words. And Rodney's comment, "we're quite close." And by "close" he means that he sees John's penis on a regular basis.
This episode really showed me how much my Rodney love has become overwhelming. Because, listen, I like Cam. Really. He's a little boring, but I blame that on the writers and not Browder, cuz Browder is awesome like whoa. But his pissy attitude with Rodney? I wasn't that amused. Ok I was a little, but mostly I was like, "Dude, don't be harshing on my main squeeze." The Rodney love may be out of control.
More proof of the Shep/McKay love? He was totally talking to Cam about Rodney. I can hear that convo. 'You have to push him a little, make him think it's impossible, but he'll do what you want.' 'Doesn't that get annoying?' 'Yeah, but he gives awesome blow jobs.'
"If at first you don't succeed, try a larger thermonuclear reaction" HA! That's so my new motto.
Daniel was very pretty and smart in this episode. The Rodney love may be out of control, but Daniel is still my boyfriend.
Hey it's Radek! Hi Radek. And Chuck! Chuck, I love you! Walter! It's Gate Techs Gone Wild.
For reasons I'm not going to look into, when the Odyssey was getting shot at and Cam was pulling on Rodney, the first thing I thought was, "Hands on the puppet." Clearly showing that Farscape has taken over my subconscious. It's only a matter of time until I have Scorpius in my head.
They used a Wraith ship to help Kawoosh the Ori ship! Awesome! I wish they gave Teal'c more to do.
Poor Daniel. So frustrated with the ascended ancients. You know that by the end of the season, enough of them will have come around to help.
On a totally shallow note (because the rest of this has been so deep), Vala was very pretty in this one.
Next week: Did you see? I'm going to put on my happy pants. This is how SG1 is going to keep my happy this season. Guest stars.
