Ah college camping. That wonderful night(s) in every college students life when they get totally smashed in the woods. Well I assumed the everyone did that. Apparently I was wrong. Logan informed me that it was an Oregon thing to go out to the woods to drink if you are under 21. Maybe that's just cuz there aren't any forests in Nevada, or something like that.

Last night Rian, Will, Jeremiah, Kaylene and I all went camping with the intentions of forgetting our horrid lives as resident assistants for one night before we must return to check out more of the ungrateful louts.

It was a lot of fun. We left around 7 and drove for an hour to some campground. I don't know where it was really, someplace Santiam Pass. All I know is that Will got it on there sometime and he wanted to relive his glory days or something. We got there, pulled our stuff out of the car and immediately proceeded to drink. Kaylene and I decided to give beer another shot since we didn't like it very much and got a case of Corona. Rian and J had their Jack and cokes and dear billiam had whatever beer he was drinking. I learned three important lessons on this little overnight.

1. I like beer, Corona's with lime, not bad

2. If you give me enough Corona I will drink it willingly without the limes and still think they are good

and

3. Drinking and skipping to the bathroom do NOT mix

Seriously I've decided that I kind of like beer now. I'd rather drink hard a just cuz you get with the drunky faster, but beer is not bad. I've also decided that like all great Mexican drinks (well tequila) you like it more and more the more and more you drink. Unlike tequila however you are still friends with the Corona in the morning.

We didn't really do anything other than drink. We sat around the campfire and enjoyed ourselves. Some of us more than others. Will was his usual self. J wasn't that gone. Kaylene was more gone than me but we weren't exactly crazy girls gone wild. Mr. Rian on the other hand got drunker than he has since his soph year of college. I ended up taking care of him for most of the night which I really didn't mind. I seem to like it when people need me. I've decided that stumbling me trying to lead more stumbly Rian to the bathroom was probably pretty funny.

Speaking of bathrooms that leads me to lesson 3. I heard a lot of this last night: "Christina hurry up and finish so we can go pee." from Kaylene. First of all the bathrooms were just cement port-o-pottys, so they were pretty gross. On one of our trips there we were talking about how we were tipsy, but otherwise ok. I decided I was OK enough to skip to the bathroom. Nope. I was wrong on that one. I fell and twisted my ankle. It wasn't bad though, and it really doesn't hurt that bad now.

I also discovered I like to kiss people when I'm drunk. I know I kissed Will and Rian a few times, all on the cheek mind you, but still I don't usually do that. I think I said no (to myself) to kissing J cuz he has a girlfriend, but I might have anyway. I know I kissed Kaylene (on the cheek too you dirty people) more times than was strictly necessary considering she's (a) a girl and (b) had a boyfriend. Oh well. Such is the wackiness of Christina.

It was hella cold last night. We didn't have a tent so we just slept outside in our sleeping bags. I was freezing, and it gets bright at like 4:30. What kind of BS is that. It's 4:30 in the morning! GO AWAY LIGHT!!! So we got up at like 7:30 cuz of the massive amounts of sun, and when I got out of my sleeping bag I looked at my feet and they were like black with dirt. It was so gross. I think I went sleep walking with no shoes or something. Otherwise I don't understand it. Oh well, like my button says, Dirt don't hurt.
