I'd complain that we wasted an episode on two characters no one cared about and we didn't learn anything new, except THEY BURIED TWO PEOPLE ALIVE! Which is one of my biggest fears, but I still thought was awesome.

Plus we got Shannon and Dead Gay Boone, so I won't complain.

By the end, I still didn't care about those two people and was glad they were dead, no longer around to take time away from better characters, and yet I have to say I was entertained by the episode in spite of myself.

And then they got buried alive, thanks to their own stupidity and greed. Which was, indeed, awesome.

I guessed the buried alive thing coming a mile away, but my favorite part was still that one throwaway line of Shannon's, about Boone flirting with Paolo. Which he really wasn't, but I still loved. Boone is gay, why won't they just admit it? (I think of his one night with Shannon as a fluke.)

I was so excited when I saw Maggie Grace's name in the credits, then Ian Somerhalder's name came up and I did the happy dance in my seat and shouted "DEAD GAY BOONE!" My mom thinks I'm crazy.

I'm glad that the episode was at least entertaining. And I'm glad we don't have to deal with the random people anymore. They were just odd.

Yes! I loved that line. My mom asked me if Boone was really gay, since I always call him Dead Gay Boone. I told her that he was really fond of Jack for a while and was Locke's jungle buddy, but they never actually said so.

If they hadn't killed him off so quickly, maybe they could have explored his sexuality. I read a slashfic that had Shannon saying, "except for her, Boone is as gay as Bravo." I think that's true.

I really liked this episode, because they killed Nikki and Paolo, and Sawyer spend the entire episode saying what everyone was thinking 'who the hell are you?'. And yes, we got Dead Gay Boone!

But uuum, burying people alive. Creepy.

I love Sawyer saying "Who the hell is Nikki?" That made me laugh. Word, Sawyer. Word.
