On my LJ free day
Jan. 16th, 2005 12:24 amHeh. LJ leaves and it's like the world ends. Seriously. LJ went down and then Portland froze over. Like it couldn't exist without livejournal.
What did I do over The Great LJ Blackout Of '05(tm Carolinecrane)? Well Friday night I watched The Faculty and the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie. They are both deliciously bad. I love them. And The Faculty has Jon Stewart. Who I love. With a passion. And Buffy has Luke Perry. Who doesn't need a little Dylan McKay in their lives?
Today I was supposed to get up early and go to Salem with Molly, Meaghan and Sarah for some seminar on how to run a campaign, but when I got up I had the WORST migraine, so I texted Meaghan and told her I wasn't going, then I slept till 3. When I got up my headache was gone, but I still felt kind of nauseous. I ended up cleaning my room and rewatching Lost, Alias, and The OC.
Then Meaghan came over (it turns out the seminar had been cancelled anyway) and we went to dinner. We decided to walk to McDonalds (everything else was closed) and basically slid the whole way there. On the way back I acted like I was 40, commenting on how all the people purposely slipping and sliding down the street were going to break bones or get hit by cars. I felt a little dumb, but I couldn't help it. I blame it on the fact that I'm the oldest of six so I've always had to act like the mom. Meaghan and I watched Alias (Yes I watched it twice today. Shut up. I have a crush on every single guy on that show. Leave me alone.). Now I'm going to sleep because despite the fact that I slept all day I'm still tired.
