You can't go home again, but I guess you can shop there

Today was not the greatest day ever. It started out pretty good. I went to work, and I was working in the tech center, which was kind of boring, but we have lots of neat stuff to play with so I entertained myself. And we got to listen to the actual radio, so no frelling Christmas music. But then I someone called in sick so I had to go down to Mens Wear. In the first two hours I was down there I heard Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas about 12 times. It is still stuck in my head.

Things went pretty well after that until about 6:15 when I started to help these people who wanted to get a pair of nice pants. First the man only spoke spanish so his wife was there to help, which wasn't bad, just kind of time consuming. They didn't know his size so I had to find a tape measure, then the pants they found were too expensive so they didn't want them. I finally found them about 4 different kinds of Dockers that would work, and so of course we didn't have the right length in the one pair they decided on. I looked on the computer and saw that Lloyd Center had a few so I called them but no one answered the bloody phone. By this time it was 7:15 and I was supposed to be off at 7 so I told them that I'd have someone keep calling over there to put a pair on hold and they could go get them tomorrow. I finally got out of there at 7:30.

Then after dinner, I was washing the dishes and I knocked a plate off the counter. It landed right on my toe right below my toenail and it started bleeding and it hurt super bad. Yeah, that pretty much sucked. And I had to choose between Poseidon Adventure and Snow Wonder. Sorry Eric, Adam Baldwin won.

Tomorrow all I'm going to do is watch Stargate all day.
