Nov. 8th, 2006 12:14 pmI had this big Torchwood post planned, but I just found out that my friend died, so posting about how Torchwood is really all about Jack's undying love for the Doctor just seems kind of... not right.
Amelia was only 22, and it's just so wrong that she's gone. She was just so... Amelia. She was warm and funny and tons of fun. When she worked at Common Grounds she would always run and jump into my arms when she saw me. It always made me smile. She had a belch you could hear from two floors away. Totally disgusting, but completely awesome.
She loved Star Trek, but we didn't find out we had that in common until I left school, then we both felt like dorks for not knowing about it until we couldn't watch it together.
And she loved Harry Potter, but now she'll never know how it ends. Which I think is probably the dumbest thing I've thought of since I found out about this, but like, that's so unfair. And it's really stupid that that is what makes it seem real, and now I'm crying and I'm at work.
Amelia, I don't know if I believe in Heaven, but it's a nice thought and I know that if anyone would end up there it's you. I love you sweetie and I'll miss you more than you know.
