I finally got around to Sci Fi Friday
Nov. 14th, 2006 12:43 pmAKA: OH NOES! THE TV ATE ROSE'S FACE!
I liked this one. Rose didn't annoy me terribly and the Doctor was fab.
Rose did stuff with her brain and it was great. I like it when they let Rose do smarts stuff, and not make her all clingy and co-dependent. It's like she's an acutal person. There's no way it can last.
I like the she got to use the wardrobe again. It does make you wonder though, before she knew about Sarah Jane she thought she was all special and the only one, didn't she wonder why the Doctor had all those girl clothes around the TARDIS? Did Rose think the Doctor occasionally like to put on pretty frocks? He is an alien after all. Perhaps she thought that on his planet men wore the pretty dresses and women wore pants. He has two hearts, would a dress really be that odd? Right, back to the episode...
David Tennant is really a very attractive man, considering he greatly resembles a weasel. Especially when he's shouting. He might be scarier than Nine. I haven't decided.
I love that the Doctor saved the day with a betamax tape. Hee. I bet he had to tape over his Gallifreyan porn. He didn't really fancy Rassilon with that donkey anyway.
The greateat part has to be that Jackie dated a sailor. I believe it. I fucking love Jackie. Even when she's not in the episode she still wins!
I don't really have anything to say about BSG except that I love big dumb Helo more than everyone else combined. Really. Even more than Roslin.
So if someone wanted to make me an icon of a weasel in a brown coat(hee the Doctor's a browncoat) that said 'Ten', I would love you forever and always.
