It's hotter than hell here

It's pretty warm outside right now. I can deal with that. What I can't deal with is the fact that my room gets the god awful afternoon sun beaming it's death heat rays right into my bedroom window. As a result the temp in my room is somewhere between 9 bazillion degrees and HADES. It is horrible. The worst part is that it doesn't cool down in here till around 4 in the morning. Seriously, I think I might melt, or roast like a turkey or something.

I haven't updated in a REALLY long time so lo siento y'all.

Umm... let see things...

Well we had our staff banquet last week and it went really well. Jeremiah worked really hard on the slide show and it turned out awesome. There are a ton of great pics in there. The theme was A Night at the Oscars and everyone looked fantastic. Seriouly. Kaylene and Mary wore thier prom dresses and they looked way cute. I borrowed Kaylene's sister's prom dress and I looked ok. The dress was a little tight, but oh well. It's fun to dress up. The guys looked really good too. Garrett wore a tux and look good. Jeremiah bought a suit for $18 at Goodwill and he looked really good in it. It had shoulder pads, but I guess I can't ask for perfection when dealing with 18 dollar Goodwill suits. :)

The only thing missing was Mike. I miss him a bunch and there were pics of him in the slide show. A lot of them were from the meeting where we said goodbye to him. Plus you know he would look HELLA fine if he had gone to the banquet. He should be back from Kuwait in October or November though so I'm REALLY REALLY excited about that. We are gonna have fun next year, cuz he wont be my boss anymore.

I found out that next year I'm going to be in Hamilton again. I'm fairly happy about that. I don't get a bathroom, but I'll live. We had a meeting with the new staff on Tuesday and I'm pleased to say that we seem like a good bunch. There are even a few cuties in the mix. Yea for eye candy. Cuz "you can love your staff, but you can't LOVE your staff" (*Sniff, I still miss Mike) (and you really can LOVE your staff it's just frowned upon and Sandy will try to move you)
