I'm bored. And really excited about new Doctor Who. It looks pretty awesome. I just watched last weeks Confidential. It was rather shippy. I think that perhaps now that we've all seen Freema and David together they decided to forget about that unrequited thing. This is possibly a good thing, what with the No Sexual Tension they've got going on.

Umm. I'm trying to think of something else to say, but I got nuthin'. I think maybe I'll read for a while and hopefully that will make me tired enough to go to sleep.

OH! I know! Why don't you guys rec me books? I can't promise I'll read them, I have a stack of about 10 books I still need to read, but I'll put them on my To Get Someday list. That sounds like fun!

Ummm, have you read American Gods and its sequel Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman? If not, you should. Like whoa.

I own them both, and they're in the pile of books I have to read still.

Hmmm, have you ever read the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon? Cheesy and hot historical romance.

If you like the young adult fantasy genre (one of the best, in my opinion) I'd recommend Cinda William Chima's The Warrior Heir and it's semi-sequel, The Wizard Heir. Ooh, and Holly Black's 'Faerie' series, which are quick, dark and intense reads.

Is there really cheesy historical romance? I was just throwing that out there. Awesome.

I added all those books to my list. Thanks!

Um, TWILIGHT by Stephenie Meyer. I am currently completely obsessed, and it is my goal to get as many people hooked as possible.

Also, I just finished reading The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay by Michael Chabon and it was REALLY good. Another great read is Reading Lolita in Tehran.

I want to watch this weeks ep. really badly....despite having not finished the previous couple eps ><

Anyways...books! Have you read anything by Haruki Murakami? He's my newest literate love. The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle is my favorite books of his, but anything is fantastic. Warning though--there's a few graphic violent scenes, but if you're squeemish about that kind of thing it's easy enough to skip over. Basically, anytime he starts talking about Manchuria, heh.

Nick Hornby is also awesome. High Fidelity and About a Boy are fantastic. You've read Keith's and Andy's books right? Andddd....because I'm a HUGE DW dork, I went and got Dicken's Mugby Junction, which has the Doctor's favorite short story. It was good : )

I read Stephen King books, it's hard to find things that phase me anymore.

Does it make me a bad fangirl if I own Keith's and Andy's books, but haven't actually read them yet? They're in the pile, I just haven't gotten to them.
