Crazy weekend
Jan. 10th, 2005 12:18 amOh man. It was a LONG weekend.
On Friday Meaghan and I watched The Sandlot. I haven't seen that movie in SO long. It is an awesome movie. In watching it we realized that perhaps that is where our first glimpse of boylove came from. Because Smalls? Totally in love with Benny. I'm not kidding. Even at the end of the movie when we see them as adults. Love.
Saturday I walked my ass all over Portland. I walked down to Fox Towers with Meaghan and we saw Kinsey. Good movie. I recommend it. Then we walked to Taste of Bali for lunch. I had Bali Chicken. Very good! Then I got back and walked down to Pioneer Place with Amanda. We got Caity a barbie for her birthday. Then we went to Blockbuster so she could buy her boyfriend Garden State. It was a long day. I figure I walked about four miles. Which isn't really that much, but damn it felt like a lot.
Today I got my ass up at the buttcrack of dawn (Which for me is 8) and Meaghan and I went to Powells. So many books I want and I have so little cash. :( I hate that. Then I came back here and set up my printer(yay!) and boxed up my DVD player that doesn't work(boo). Then around 1 my fantastic grandparents picked Amanda and me up and we went to my house for Caity's 7th birthday party. There were like 20 little children running around my house. OK that might be an exaggeration, but not by much. There were like 13 or 14 of them. It was quite crowded. It's nice to be able to just go home for those things though. I wasn't able to do that when I went to school in Eugene. I'd put up pics, but really, I'm lazy, and no one really cares. I don't think. If you do, I'm not sure if I want to know why you want to see my 7 year old sister. Perv.
