Teal'c and Cam are chatting about something, Vala and Daniel are holding hands, Sam is wandering off because she's too good for these people, and dude in the background is standing around waiting to be killed. Oh, come on. You know it's gonna happen. He's the only one there not on SG1. He's toast.

there was a stargate atlantis episode towards the end of season three where right off the bat, Rodney was talking to people who were first time guest stars on the show as they were going on some sort of expedition, and right away i thought, "oh yeah. those guys are dying." and sure enough, they did.

in fact, i was amazingly surprised in Blink when in the scene when Sally and whatshisface were in the Scooby Doo mansion, he didn't get nabbed. everything seemed to want to lead to the moment where he gets taken and sally is left alone. it was the one part of the episode i had a slight problem with, actually, because it occured to me right away that they probably should have taken "shifts" looking at the statue, but instead, she kind of left him out to dry. it felt more fitting that he should get thrust into the past and she be left alone as a small consequence of her neglect.
