bubbles83: (News - Anderson is looking at you!)
[personal profile] bubbles83
Last year, my mom and I decided that we were going to go to Build-A-Bear every year when we were in Vegas. I made a Lex bear and a Superman bear. I'm trying to decide what kind of bear I want to make this year. Help me decide.

[Poll #1033160]

In other news, I forgot to tape Anderson on The View this morning. Did anyone catch it? Was he adorable? Did he discuss premature ejaculation?

I'm beeej at both GJ and IJ, although I don't really plan on leaving unless fandom does a mass exodus. I can't imagine that the same legal issues won't apply everywhere.

Yeah, I don't plan on leaving any time soon. I was telling [livejournal.com profile] medie that I'll probably hang around till the bitter end. But it's nice to know where I can find people should the need arise.

Hee! I have a Stephen Colbear myself, so I know creating one of those is possible. But, selfishly, I voted for pirate!bear, so my bear will remain unique. ;)

I have twitter, vox, deadjournal and greatestjournal accounts, and my username is either kosmicala or cosmic. I never remember for sure.

I have Anderview, but I haven't watched it yet.

You have a Colbear? Aww. Well, I will only make myself a Colbert if I can't find anything else that I like. I really kind of want a Doctor bear, anyway, but I don't know if I'll be able to find the right clothes.

I think I read that the View is rerunning that ep on the 14th. I'll have to try to remember to tape it.

Caveman would hit him with his club and puncture the space suit. Yes, I realize this logic is flawed because the caveman wouldn't be fighting him in a zero-g vacuum.

I have accounts at a couple places (I want a journalfen so bad.), but I don't use them at all.

But what if the astronaut has some sort of gun or something? Or a really big wrench?

Or a boombox?

Have you ever watched guys move in space suits? It's not exactly speedy. Cavemen have to, you know, catch animals to kill to eat and stuff. He's got wilderness reflexes.
Somehow I bet they could knock the astronaut out with a club and rip the spacesuit with it before the astronaut reacted.

It would be such a cute bear. A little suit and glasses. I'd tape a little pen in his hand, that he could point at people. I think a Doctor Who bear would be fun, too. And I have a sonic screwdriver he could carry around. :)

Also, I totally had to get one last thing into the news post before the comments max out (http://news.livejournal.com/102095.html?replyto=55197391)

And you've enjoyed my work there so far.

(Er. Hello there, inability to do HTML. I fail.)

My Colbear:

Image

I found him at a thrift store and bought him for something like a dollar. BEST DOLLAR EVER. He is squishy and wee and the master of the stankeye. He lives on my dashboard, and since last Christmas has been best friends with a penguin named Paul, who lives in the ashtray. It's all very exciting.

...and yes, he is battling a potato in that picture. The potato is actually made up to look like Stephen Colbert.

(But you WIN at failing HTML. Maybe that counts for something)

Your Colbear is friends with a penguin named Paul? That is adorable.

So did Potato!Colbert or Colbear win that epic battle?

Yeah. A DW bear would be awesome. I think thats probably what I'll make if I can find the right clothes.

Maybe I should make a Master Bear.

Alternatively, an Anderson Cooper bear would be pretty adorable. I'm not into stuffed animals, but I could get behind that.

I'm here (http://carolinecrane.greatestjournal.com/) at GJ, but I think you might already have me friended there. ::is too lazy to check:: Haven't bothered with IJ yet because I have a feeling if fandom leaves LJ, it will just have to do without me in future. Not because I am so loyal to LJ, but because I don't think I have the energy to start over.

I really really like the Anderbear idea. Like, a lot. You win at giving me ideas.

I really don't want to leave LJ. I don't want to have to start over at another journal, so they'll probably have to pry my LJ out of my cold dead hands. But it's good to be prepared.
