1. Friday fill-in: Doctor Who is one of the things I'm totally obsessed with.
2. Who's your favourite Doctor and why? The Seventh Doctor. Why? Isn't the fact he's the Seventh Doctor enough for you people? If I'm honest, one of the reasons is his accent. I love to hear him roll his Rs. And he IS The Oncoming Storm. When Ten goes all dark and scary, he's really just channeling Seven. There are times when Seven is totally a hotass.
3. Who's your favourite companion/assistant and why? I'm tempted to say Ace, but that's because I just watched Survival last night. Really, it's Romana. The first Romana if you want to be picky. She was smart and funny and could be hilariously bitchy to the Doctor. And Mary Tamm has fantastic eyebrows. (PS: Romana isn't dead. She's chilling somewhere, waiting for Teh Moff to take over.)
4. Who's the best villain and why? As much as I love the Daleks, I'm gonna have to go with the Master on this one. Crazy ex-boyfriends usually do make the best villains.
5. If you could script an episode what would happen? It would be a multi-doctor episode with Seven and Ace having to help Ten and Martha SAVE THE UNIVERSE! Seven will see Martha's awesomeness right away and tell Ten he's a dumbass for being a giant cock to her. (Seven might not use that exact words) Martha and Ace will have fun blowing shit up and have loads of chemistry together. There may or may not be manipulation of companion for their own good. There will be lots of running down corridors. Just for the lols.

And todays fannish5: What are your five favorite canonical friendships?



1. John Sheppard and Rodney McKay (SGA): They are just... my boys. They have fun and goof around together. They pretend not to like each other as much as they do because they have the combined maturity of 16 year olds. Their whole friendship just gives me flappy hands of incoherent glee.

2. Jack O'Neill and Daniel Jackson (SG1): More than anything else I think their friendship is the heart of the show. They love each other. In what ever way you want that to mean.

3. Miles O'Brien and Julian Bashir (DS9): Do I really need to to explain this one? Can I just use quotes from the show?
Julian Bashir: I mean, if anything, by spending your free time in the bedroom, a place you intimately associate with Keiko, you are actually expressing...a desire to be closer to her...during her absence. It's quite touching, really.
Miles O'Brien: Exactly! Exactly! See, you understand. Why can't she see that? Why can't she be more like...
Julian Bashir: ...more like...?
Miles O'Brien: [Beat] ...uh, a man. Y-you know, more like a man.
Yeah. Or like your bestest friend in the whole wide Alpha Quadrant. There's another one that I'm too lazy to look up where Miles tells Julian he loves his wife, he just like Julian more. I love that they weren't suddenly best friends from the moment they stepped foot on the station. Their relationship took time to grow and evolve. I think outside of Kirk and Spock it's the greatest friendship in Trek.

4. Jadzia Dax and Benjamin Sisko (DS9): I probably should just put Dax there and include Curzon and Ezri in it, but really, for me, it's all about Jadzia and Ben. They trust each other and confide in each other. They weren't afraid to get into each other faces and say they're being a jackass. And they did it all without ever going into a romantic area.

5. Two/Jamie (DW): You can say what you want about Rose being the Doctor's ONE TRUE LOVE or whatever, but Jamie was his best friend. In all of time and space. If I have to explain this to you, you've clearly never seen an episode with them. Go get Tomb of the Cybermen or Seeds of Death or something. Trust me. BFFs!


Also, no one ever answered my [casting spoiler] question from my last post, so I'm going to assume it's okay to upload my icons. If you have some objection let me know.

*clappy hands* What episode did you watch?

Dude. SG1 is all about the Jack/Daniel. The episode Abyss is all about their Big Gay Love for each other.

Mua ha ha ha. We watched the pilot and the one where Jack's brain is uploaded with the ancients (?) information. The latter because they love how concerned Daniel is :D
