My Sci Fi magazine came in the mail yesterday. It's the fall TV preview one and they have a part on Torchwood in there. Honest to God, they say the best moment in the pilot is when "Owen uses an alien spray to pick up chicks." Yes, that's right. According to the magazine, Owen taking away a woman's ability to give consent as to whether she'd like to sleep with him is the high point of the pilot. *facepalm*

Am I the only one who gets a little tired of the SG1 marathons on Sci Fi? They always show the same episodes. I like them, but some variety would be nice. And I think I make the same joke every time I watch Window of Opportunity. At the beginning, when they're on the planet and Alien Archaeologist Dude says to Daniel, "You are a skilled linguist, Dr. Jackson." I always smirk and say, "Yes, in fact, some people might even say cunning." Because I am that lame.

Can't remark on SG1, but it kills me when they do Dead Like Me marathons often. I love the show and all, but there's not *that* many episodes. They had a marathon like a month ago, so I won't want to sit down and watch the one on Monday because I just saw it.

Really, do the programmers understand people at SciFi? Because sometimes, I just think they don't. Get. It. Like the whole "let's not play Doctor Who except that one marathon right before we start the new season." Arguh.

The Skiffy people are morons. That's the one thing I've learned in watching their channel. They do these Fan Favorite Marathons once or twice a year, AND IT'S ALWAYS THE SAME EPISODES. I don't think they even really do voting anymore. They just put the same episodes on in the same order EVERY TIME.
