Guys! I'm freaking out about SGA Spoiler that have been making the rounds. FREAKING OUT FROM EXTREME AWESOME! Why isn't it the 28th yet?

There aren't any spoilers in the comments right now, but I'm going to bed and I can't promise it will stay that way. Okay, yes, there are now spoilers in the comments.

i guess wikipedia is hands off for a while. i already accidentally read spoilers for SGA and Torchwood on there and i'm not happy about it.

Honestly, it's not even really a big deal. I don't think it's anything that will affect the plot. A minor thing one character says, that I have been waiting FOUR YEARS for him/her to say.

What sort of spoilers? Casting spoilers or plot spoilers?

mainly casting and roles of the casting.

like, i already knew who was coming over from sg1, but i didn't know what role said character was going to have and i was curious about it, but then i accidentally read it on wiki.

also another casting spoiler for two episodes in season 4. which i was annoyed to not be surprised about when it actually happens, but it also made me happy to know that it was going to happen.

i can sort of live with the casting spoilers although i still hate getting them. i was annoyed when brits on doctorwho spoiled for me who was going to be the new companion in the xmas special and series four, but i can live with that okay much more than i can live with plot spoilers. the only plot spoiler i got out of sga was "we're going to make it darker". that's vague enough that it functions as a teaser that i like rather than a spoiler that will piss me off.

I totally understand about the DW casting spoiler thing. I know a lot of people who got spoiled when they didn't want to. I don't mind getting casting spoilers, but I tend to avoid most plot spoilers. Sometimes. Depending on the show. Other shows I devour any spoiler I can find.

It's hard, because if something is going to piss me off I'd rather know about it in advance, to get ready for it, but if it's awesome I'd rather not know and be suprised. I kind of try to see what my flist is saying to see if it's something I should look up or avoid.
