My fannish rage, let me show you it.

Okay, that's a lie. It's been long enough that it's not really rage. More like simmering resentment.

They killed Kate. And I just... I don't think I can even talk about it now. It wasn't even a good death! She died in a dream. They couldn't have given her something cool to do? Fight Wraith, beat some Replicators, break the fourth wall and beat whoever wrote this episode with the script. Something. But really... just... ugh. I don't want to talk about it.

And while I'm on the subject of things I don't like about this episode, way to have Rodney's Moby Dick whale fear come out of nowhere. You think that might have come up in Grace Under Pressure or I don't know, ECHOES. John and Rodney go on a whale date for God's sake.

There were things I liked though. If it wasn't for That Thing happening, I think this would have been one of my favorite episodes ever. It's like a John/Rodney goldmine. And I don't think Teyla/Kate could have gotten more canon.

Everyone's dreams were interesting. Ronon running around an empty Atlantis was pretty heartbreaking. Teyla is horrified by the thought that people think she has a thing for John. Kate feels like John is always between her and Teyla. And John is afraid of Rodney dying. BECAUSE THEY ARE IN LOVE. He looked so small and alone in his dream when everyone was blaming him for Rodney's death.

And you know, there was the whole going into each other's dreams thing. BECAUSE THEY ARE BOYFRIENDS.

And the Flan is totally a hotass when he's all creepy and evil.

There are other things I liked, but I don't actually remember what they are, so I'm going to go cry for a while now.

I have to admit I was never Kate's biggest fan, but still - her death felt so damn POINTLESS to me! Much like Carson's...

Other than that - this episode was made of so much GAY.

At least Carson died because he saved someone. Kate just went to sleep and never woke up.

If it wasn't for that one thing I would love the ep OMG SO MUCH. The rest of it was made of awesome win.

I know. The rest of the episode was awesome. I just don't understand why they had to do that. There was no point to it.

Flan was awesome. And if it hadn't been for the whole killing of Kate thing I would have loved the episode. Everything not involving that was fantastic!
