Just in case you guys weren't sure about the supreme levels of my aweosmeness, I give you proof!

That's right, PLASTIC SHE-RA HALLOWEEN COSTUME! My mom and I found it when we were going through her cedar chest. I don't even know how old I was when I wore it, probably younger than five. Y'all wish you were as badass as me.

If you are a Godless heathen who doesn't know who She-Ra is, I don't know if I can be friends with you. Quickly, check out this YouTube intro, so we can still talk!

I watched the video just so I wouldn't get kicked off your flist! Although I have to admit that I burst out laughing at the "eeeeevil forces of [unintelligible]!" line.

OMG! SHE-RA!

Though I maintain that my five year old badass Wonder Woman self could hold her own against your five year old badass She-Ra self.

I love She-Ra.

It would probably be a tie. Then we'd gang up on boys. Because they deserve it. :)

They really, really do. Clearly we need a League of Awesome Chick Superheroes.

(Oh! Also! Did you know that there are people who've written Adora/Glimmer fic?)

I don't remember watching She-Ra very often (He-Man tended to dominate our household due to my brother's stronger personality) but I was totally in love with her beloved steed.

That is one rockin' costume!

I loved both of them. I used to have He-Man pajamas. And all sorts of action figures.

You had that costume and I had the plastic pink castle as well as the character that had wings and the evil(?) one that transformed into a black panther. Man, my memory of She-Ra and He-Man is so, so, so rusty!!! I mean, I'd forgotten that they were twins, for starters... *g*

Checking out He-Man's intro and I think the winged one I talked about is the Sorceress from that show. Hee!

Heh. I used to have all sorts of He-Man and She-Ra stuff. They were too awesome. I think He-Man is out on DVD (She-Ra might be too), I think I might see if I can Netflix it.

Both of them are on DVD. That is really awesome. I wonder if they'd do the same with Jem and the Holograms and such.

We had such the wonderful cartoons in the 80's compared to now. Same aren't bad but... you know. The 80's rocked!!!
