Every time I look at new pictures I'm always amazed at how good Zachary Quinto looks as Spock. Like, really really good.

I was resolutely not excited until some DVD or another I was watching had a sneak preview trailer -- with a Leonard Nimoy voiceover. And like Pavlov's dog, suddenly I was all a-quiver with that old fannish love. Even though I know, as you so aptly say, it will likely all end in tears and recriminations. But they still suck me back in. Damn you, Trek! *shakes fist at Paramount*

I was all set to ignore the movie, but then I started seeing pictures and now I'm really pretty psyched to see it. At least if it is horrible we can still enjoy how pretty it is.
