bubbles83I set my VCR to record Lost tonight, cuz I went to go see Alexander (comments below) with Meaghan and Sarah, and when I got back I found out that I only got the first 5 minutes of the episode. Oh my lord, I'm so upset right now. Any chance anyone out there recorded it or anything? Seriously, I need Jack/Boone time, Charlie time, and it's Claire's week damn it! I love Claire, and I've been waiting for her week. I'm so pissed. Shit!
So... Alexander. VERY long. Seriously, like 3 hours long. On another note, guys in eyeliner? Hot! So many pretty boys. Guh. Although, there wasn't enough actual boylove. I kept wanting Colin Farrell and Jared Leto (Guh! The hot!) to kiss, and they'd almost get there and then not do it. I kept whispering, "I lose" in the theater. I think the other people there probably thought I was crazy. Meaghan and Sarah just laughed at me. Oh, you thought this was going to have actual content about the movie. Fine. I don't know how historically accurate it was, but then again look at Troy. No, really look at it. Pretty boys again. mmm... Oh, uh. Alexander. Right...
There was a lot of sexual tension between Alexander and his mom, I don't know if it was supposed to be there, but it was. I guess it could just be because Angelina Jolie and Colin Farrell would have sexual chemistry with a broom stick, I don't know. It was there though.
Hey, anyone here remember when Val Kilmer was, like, the hottest man alive? Remember Top Gun? Remember Batman Forever? Remember Tombstone? What that you say? He had TB in Tombstone? Oh, yeah. Well shut up. I don't care. Where has my beautiful Val gone? Please come back to me. I miss you. Embrace the pretty. I loved the pretty. Get rid of the beard. It didn't look good on Brad and it doesn't look good on you.
So in conclusion, (it's about time Christina) I wouldn't pay to see it again (well maybe at a cheap theater, but we don't have one here) but it was decent. It's better than Christmas with the Kranks I'm sure. At least it has pretty boys. In eyeliner.
