Wow. Just wow. That book was MUCH better than the last one. I'm still processing it, so this might not make much sense. I really enjoyed it, but I didn't really feel like much happened in it. It was very obviously a bridge to the seventh book. I mean, obviously some huge important things happened, but over all I feel like this book was really just us hanging out at Hogwarts with the trio, and I don't have a problem with that at all.
I liked all the making out in it. Not because I'm a perv. I am, but that's not the point. They're 16, they have all the hormones and feelings and shit and if they weren't making out I'd be worried. That said, I'm so glad that it was Lavender Ron was with and not Luna. I quite like Luna and if Ron had hurt her I would have been very upset. Plus I'm all with the Neville/Luna squeeing.
I really enjoyed the Ron/Hermione parts. I just love them so much and I want them to be happy together, but I think that before they can do that they both need to experience other people, which they've done, so get with the smoochies!
I kind of felt like the Harry/Ginny stuff came out of nowhere, but it was cute. I didn't think I'd like it if they ever hooked up, but I'm glad Harry got a little happiness while he could. He deserves it, and lord knows his life is gonna get worse before it gets better.
Speaking of realationships that come out of nowhere, where the hell did Remus/Tonks come from? I know that there were people out there who were all about the R/T after OoTP, but I never saw it. Add that to the fact that I always saw them both as gay. Especially Remus. Maybe I'm just bitter because I'm a Remus/Sirius shipper. I can work around canon though. Lord knows it's never stopped me before. Although I did like the idea that Tonks loved Sirius. Who wouldn't love Sirius? He's effing Sirius Black. He's like a rock star or something. I don't know. Just ignore this whole section. It made no sense.
Wow, was Harry ever obsessed with Draco in this one. If I was and H/D shipper I might be wetting my pants. I do believe my favorite line in a book ever was on page 458, "I need to see what Draco Malfoy is doing inside you." I immediatly went to a dirty place with that one, and still haven't left it. Greatest line ever.
Wow, that was a lot about shippiness. I guess there was just a lot of it in the book. I think I'm going to split this up and post the other stuff tomorrow.
