bubbles83: (The Office - Pam rocks)
I watched the third season Office blooper reel last night. I can't remember the last time I laughed that hard.

Guys! I'm freaking out about SGA Spoiler that have been making the rounds. FREAKING OUT FROM EXTREME AWESOME! Why isn't it the 28th yet?

There aren't any spoilers in the comments right now, but I'm going to bed and I can't promise it will stay that way. Okay, yes, there are now spoilers in the comments.

Mmm. Pie

bubbles83: (TCR - Jon and Stephen are love)
Thanks to everyone who filled out my poll. If you haven't done it yet, what are you waiting for? I promise not to be creepy and shit. Actually, I'm pretty shy and probably won't talk to you unless you talk to me first. And if I do, it will probably just be me pounding on my keyboard, squeeing over some stupid fandom related thing. So if you get notices that someone has added you, that's just me.

I had some pretty random dreams last night. The first one involved me wandering around post-apocalyptic New York(Which look amazingly like downtown Portland) with Jon and Stephen. And at some point Stephen managed to tame a giant kitten and was riding it around like a horse. There was also pie.

Does anyone on my flist remember Rocky and Bullwinkle? Remember Sherman and Mr. Peabody? Well if you don't, Mr. Peabody is a dog and Sherman is his boy and they travel in time to historical events and usually have to help make sure things go right. (Think Doctor Who, except a cartoon and the Doctor is a talking dog). Anyway, I dreamed that except with PETE WENTZ AND HEMMY. (PS: Did you know that Hemingway has his own community? [livejournal.com profile] hemmyftw) And they had to save Abe Lincoln from robots. I blame the VMAs. Which I think means I can blame Britney Spears.

Talk to me

I don't really get on AIM anymore. I don't know why. I'll sign on if I think about it, but it's not the first thing I do when I get on the computer anymore. I'm almost always on MSN and GTalk though. So here's a poll. I want to know what chat program you use and what your screennames are. In case anyone cares, I'm Zia83 on AIM, healy.cm on Google Talk and healycm@msn.com on MSN.

bubbles83: (TDS - Jon glasses)
And a headache. D:

Stephen is adorable in USAToday "First of all, I didn't write it. I dictated it. I shouted it into a tape recorder, and then I gave it to my agent."

The Daily Show is getting video archives. Pretty cool!

Two icon posts in one week! Will wonders never cease? A few days ago [livejournal.com profile] kueble gave us all lovely picspam of Keltie Colleen. For those of you who don't know, Keltie is Ryan Ross' girlfriend. And she's absolutely adorable. I got bored and made icons.

This is clearly the greatest website to ever exist. You can put Disney characters on shirts and shit.

AHAHA. Belle is crazypants!

I now give you the GAYEST shirt ever!

I might actually hurt people to get this.

Nothing to do with the hours of time you can waste on that shirt website, but this is pretty messed up. Shit like that pisses me off. So much. It's not even a good photoshop job.
bubbles83: (News - WONDER TWIN POWERS ACTIVATE)
I think most of you know about John Barrowman being on the cover of Out magazine this month. Here is some of the stuff that didn't make it into the article. There is a casting spoiler for S2 (No not that one. The OTHER casting spoiler.) And a small plot point having to do with said casting spoiler, but nothing that gives the plot away.

A few other links:
Want to have nightmares tonight?

So much win.

OMG, Anderson and Erica are extra cute tonight!

Is it almost time for Jon and Stephen to come back?
bubbles83: (DW - Can't stand burnt toast)
I did one of those give me a letter and I'll tell you 10 things I like that start with that letter meme, but I don't remember who gave me the letter. Anyway, they gave me S. If you want a letter let me know.

1. [livejournal.com profile] schtroumph_c, [livejournal.com profile] scrunchy, [livejournal.com profile] shanananon, [livejournal.com profile] shansgrl, [livejournal.com profile] slodwick, [livejournal.com profile] smidgy06, [livejournal.com profile] smittywing, [livejournal.com profile] specter_13, [livejournal.com profile] splits_thesky, [livejournal.com profile] stolenglimpse, [livejournal.com profile] storydivagirl, [livejournal.com profile] strifechaos, [livejournal.com profile] suchthefangirl, and [livejournal.com profile] supatwee - you all are fabulous and I love you! *hugs*

2. Stargate - I was going to list Sam Carter and Sheppard, John separately, but I decided just to lump them both under the giant Stargate banner. I love both shows. They're dorky and cracktastic and never afraid to mock themselves.

3. Stephen Colbert - *pets Stephen* The control he has over his audience is horribly frightening sometimes. That has nothing to do with my deep love for him, but I felt like saying it.

4. Stewart, Jon - If my love for Stephen is deep, my love for Jon is the Grand Canyon the Mariana Trench of love. Jon is... just so Jon.

5. Spencer Smith - He's so adorable and Spencer-y. I want to crawl into his lap and cuddle him. Also, HIIIIIIPS.

6. Stump, Patrick - Thiiiiiiighs.

7. Sam Winchester - Sometimes my love for Dean is so overwhelming that I forget about how much I love Sammy. But I do love Sam. And his giant hands and his big nose. Gay bear!Sam is ♥

8. Seventh Doctor - Why don't more people love Seven? I demand an explanation for this bullshit! He can't stand burnt toast! Or unrequited love. What happened to that? *clings to Seven*

9. Star Trek - I've been watching Star Trek forever. I think I probably watched it in the womb. It's a part of me. I love them all. Except for Enterprise. But even then, I can't bring myself to totally hate it. (But don't tell my mom that. I will never let her know that there are parts of it I don't hate)

10. Sweaters - I love sweaters. Fall and Winter are my favorite seasons. Mostly because I like the clothes.

I posted some Patches icons earlier.

bubbles83: (Sports - Baseball)
OH THANK GOD! The Mariners won. After losing NINE games in a row they really need this.
bubbles83: (DW - D & D)
This news is pleasing. I wasn't ready to give up David just yet. I was ready to be rid of RTD, I really wanted The Moff to take over, but I can live with it. I'm gonna be going through Doctor withdrawal though.
bubbles83: (DW - Something old something new)
I really have no excuse for posting other than showing off this fabulous icon that [livejournal.com profile] calapine made. Even though, you know, he totally doesn't deserve someone as awesome as Martha.

Also if you haven't checked out her season 4 series, The Pandora Project, you should do so. It's got the Doctor, the Master, pirates, vampire squid and much more. Although, if you need more of a reason than pirates and vampire squid, you are clearly insane. Go! Read it!
bubbles83: (News - Randerson BFFs)
Keith was on The Soup! He did a Special Comment on Lindsay and Britney. It was pretty funny. If you can find a repeat, you should check it out. It isn't until the very end, so if you don't want to actually watch The Soup, just turn it on for the last five minutes or so.*

*I am not responsible for any harm you may come to if you see the segment on Baby Wee-Wee.

I still don't have a Keith icon. What is up with that? Here, have Anderpants and Ryan Seacrest being dorks.
bubbles83: (SGA - OMG I R OPPRESSING TEH FEN)
You know, I've heard that the longer a couple is together the more they start resembling each other. On that note, I give you a season 4 promo shot )
bubbles83: (TW - Gwen's shoes)
My Sci Fi magazine came in the mail yesterday. It's the fall TV preview one and they have a part on Torchwood in there. Honest to God, they say the best moment in the pilot is when "Owen uses an alien spray to pick up chicks." Yes, that's right. According to the magazine, Owen taking away a woman's ability to give consent as to whether she'd like to sleep with him is the high point of the pilot. *facepalm*

Am I the only one who gets a little tired of the SG1 marathons on Sci Fi? They always show the same episodes. I like them, but some variety would be nice. And I think I make the same joke every time I watch Window of Opportunity. At the beginning, when they're on the planet and Alien Archaeologist Dude says to Daniel, "You are a skilled linguist, Dr. Jackson." I always smirk and say, "Yes, in fact, some people might even say cunning." Because I am that lame.
bubbles83: (TrekCon - Me and The Sisko)
I was tagged by [livejournal.com profile] ligia_elena.

A. List seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself.
B. Tag seven people to do the same.
C. Do not tag the person who tagged you or say that you tag "whoever wants to do it."

Okay. This is hard. I'm not remotely interesting.

1. Every morning I have to sit in a certain seat at the table and read the newspaper in a certain order as I eat my breakfast or I get cranky.

2. Sometimes I'll drink a coke with breakfast and I don't feel dirty about either.

3. It seems like my mom and I saw Beauty and the Beast like 8 times in the theater. I remember her waking me up on the weekends and we'd go together. But I'm not sure if that's really true, or if it's just what it feels like now. It doesn't really matter, it's still my favorite Disney movie for that reason.

4. I almost drowned once in my friend's pool. I was trying to get a floaty from the deep end and I fell in.

5. I know every line to The American President. I own three copies of it. One I recorded off the television, a vhs tape, and a DVD.

6. When I was little my favorite movie was Halloween, but I had to watch it peeking through my fingers because it was scary. I'm not sure why I was watching Halloween when I was little, but I'm sure it had something to do with my dad.

7. I'm a giant sap when it comes to movies and TV shows. I'll cry at the drop of a hat. EVERY time I watch Armageddon or Remember the Titans I'm a giant blubbery mess. Don't even talk to me about SG1. I know Daniel comes back, but I still cry when I watch Meridian.

Screw what the instructions say, I'm too lazy to tag anyone. If you want to do it, go for it.

And just in case anyone was wondering what sort of nerd I am:

NerdTests.com says I'm a Mega-Dorky Nerd King. What are you? Click here!

bubbles83: (DW - Martha with arrows)
I finished up Life On Mars. The ending was very satisfying. John Simm is adorable and I'd like to have one. Gene Hunt owns me in ways I'm too afraid to contemplate.

I followed that up by rewatching Last of the Timelords. I love Martha Jones. Like, kind of a lot. I don't understand why she can't get her own TARDIS, pick up Sarah Jane and maybe Liz Shaw, and have fun adventures. If they ran into Ace on one of these adventures that'd be even better. It would be great. They could call it "Martha Jones Is Fucking Awesome."

If Jack and Sarah Jane can have spinoffs, then it's perfectly reasonable to give Martha one. Besides, I bet her show would be better than Torchwood. Don't get me wrong, I love the show, but it is a bit shit. And she's ten times more competent than anyone there.
