Yesterday at work, I saw Jonathan Jackson. Some of you might not be aware of who Jonathan is. He's my future husband. Alright, that's a lie. He's married and his wife is very pretty, and seems very nice. Jonathan was the first Lucky Spencer on General Hospital. He was also in Camp Nowhere and Tuck Everlasting. He's been in a few other things as well, but those are the things most people know him from.

It's important to note that I did know him from GH and have been in love with him since I was 12 years old. Seriously. I have signed pictures and a tape that he made a long time ago. Still. That tape is 11 years old and I still have it. And his dad is my family doctor. Ok, now this story is making me sound kind of like a lame stalker.

Anyway, I was coming back from the Customer Service desk and I saw this guy walking towards me, and I thought it kind of looked like him, but then as he got closer I realized it was him. I was just walking, totally planning on acting like I had no idea that the man I'd loved for 11 years was walking my way.

As I was walking past them, his wife stopped me and asked where the dress department was. I wasn't going to pass up my chanced to spend time with him, so I told them it was down stairs and walked them towards the elevator. I played it cool the whole time. I don't think you could tell that on the inside my mind was shouting, "HELLO JONATHAN JACKSON. I LOVE YOU AND WANT TO HAVE YOUR BABIES. YOUR FACIAL HAIR IS KIND OF PATCHY, BUT IT'S OK. I STILL LOVE YOU." But maybe you could. I don't know.

After I left them, I went back to my department and told Girl-I-Close-With all about it. As I was telling the story I realized that the dress department is, in fact, not downstairs, but got moved upstairs, probably about two months ago. Then I felt like a goober. A giant dorky goober. My brain went, "WOE! JONATHAN JACKSON WILL NEVER MARRY ME NOW." It's not the first time I've done that either. That's probably the second or third time I've told people to go downstairs for that department. None of the others were my future husband though.

So that's my story of dorkishness in the face of true love. Hope you enjoyed.

You know what one of the most disturbing things about General Hospital is? The fact that deep down, Tracy and Luke really do care about each other.
