It's freaking windy outside.

Went shopping today. I ended up getting Caity a boxset that has A Little Princess, The Secret Garden, and Anne of Green Gables in it. It even comes with a little locket. I don't know if she'll have any interest in them, but they're books I enjoyed, so she damn well better think they're fantastic! And I got her The Secret School by Avi. Sitting right next to that book was The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle, which was one of my favorite books, but my mom made me get rid of it when we moved to Vancouver, so I picked that up for myself, and maybe if she's nice to me, I'll let Caity read it. I also picked up a couple of Doctor Who books. Wetworld, which I heard was good. And Independence Day, a Seven and Ace novel. For all I know it could be total shit, but it's Seven and Ace, so I bought it.

Date: 2008-01-05 12:48 am (UTC)Also, I am not excited for SGA since I don't watch it, but PSYCH!! Way more excited for Psych than Torchwood. Psych is just a happy good time. Torchwood just means I'll probably hate it and might brave the Torchwood comms again.

Date: 2008-01-05 01:33 am (UTC)(Am I, unawares, indicating some kind of anti-Doctor fandom preference with that answer?)

Date: 2008-01-05 02:40 am (UTC)It's not anti-Doctor if you're going for a strictly fruitist answer. If, however, you choose to let pineapple=Psych and banana=Doctor Who then, yes, you are. To be honest, I just thought a fruit death match would be silly and those were the two fruits that came into my head. Whether it's a coincidence that the fruits I chose could be construed as show related or a sign that fandom has completely taken over my subconscience remains to be seen.

Date: 2008-01-05 02:56 am (UTC)I want to see Juno! I'll have to see if I can get someone here to see it with me. I love that they play Torchwood commercials at the cinema. I would like to see John Barrowman HUGE on the big screen.
