Wash?
I'm totally heart broken. Totally. Joss can kill Book all he wants, I never really had an opinion on him, but Wash? Oh man. I would have cried like a baby, but I was with my mom, and I didn't need her to see that. She thinks I'm weird enough as it is. But man, at the end, when Mal was in Wash's seat and all his dinosaurs were there... I almost lost it. I wasn't suprised when Joss killed Book. Joss will kill people when he thinks it's their time to go. Tara, Anya, Doyle, Lilah, etc. But I never expected him to kill off Wash. I hate him a little for killing him off, but then the movie was so good, that I just can't hate him, which makes me hate him more. Does that make sense? Probably not.
It was really good though. I liked the explaination of the Reavers. I like that Simon and Kaylee finally got togetherdespite the fact that Simon is clearly gay and in love with Jayne and Mal. Kaylee really liked him and she deserves some happiness that doesn't come with batteries. I always liked that Kaylee was so vocal about liking sex and she wasn't ever demonized for it like most women on television are.
And Jayne! Oh, my pretty pretty Jayne. How I love you. You are always funny and hot and a jackass and I lust you for it.
I still think the Mal/Inara stuff is stupid and forced. Really, she has no point. I don't actively hate her, I just don't really see the need for her to be around other than to pretend she has chemistry with Mal.
My favorite part though, that little dancing Chinese doll cartoons made River evil. Seriously. Watching that would have made me evil too. :)
Damn. I still need a Firefly icon.
