My sister got a kitty! Her name is Patches and she 4 years old and she's adorable. And even though her name is Patches, I call her Ace because she's hardcore. When she wants to be petted she climbs on your lap and taps your face with her wee little paws. I got a few pictures!

Look, the reason Top Gear is so awesome is because of the hosts. I don't watch the show because I like cars. I watch it because Richard Hammond is adorable and James May is bizarrely sexy and Jeremy Clarkson is a twit, but he's amusing so it's okay. So why don't you just give us the British version. Which is good and awesome, not some horrible US version which is going to end up being American Coupling With Cars.

pescivendolo! We'd never met, but she and her husband are in town so we got together. They're absolutely lovely. Of course it took us no time at all to start talking about fannish things. I had a lot of fun, and I'm excited for them to move here so we can hang out more often. :)

Guys, there was a TORNADO warning for my area. WTF? My mom and I were sitting in the family room and there was all this thunder, like right over our house, it was pretty freaky. It sounded like we were under attack. Then there was all this hail, and then the news cut in with a tornado warning! Crazy! People are reporting funnel clouds. Nothing, you know, huge. But anything here is pretty big.

My littlest sister is probably freaking out right now. My mom promised her we'd never have to worry about tornadoes here.

Guys! OMG! I went to BBC America OnDemand to see if they had any new Coupling episodes and found that they put the first three episodes of the second series of Life On Mars up! WOO! *licks Gene Hunt* Not that Sam Tyler isn't totally awesome, but Gene is Gene. And pwns everyone in his path.

Randomly, do you want to know what happens when you spend all day watching MSNBC, CNN, Fake news, and Conan, and eat a bunch of cheese before you go to bed? You have fucked up dreams. That's what.

In the first one, I was in some gay German disco (thanks Conan!) with a friend and got really excited because I saw Jon and Stephen there. And honest to God, Stephen was in a mesh tank top and leather pants. In the second one I was Chris Matthews (that means it qualifies as nightmare, right?). And I was sitting with Keith doing primary coverage, but Keith's phone kept going off. Finally I stole it from him and he was getting dirty text messages from Anderson Cooper.

Now, I have two problems with these dreams. One, I WAS CHRIS MATTHEWS! And two, I have a dream that involves mesh tank tops and leather pants and Anderson is in the other one. EPIC FAIL brain. Epic fail.
