Quick hello before naps and showers
Dec. 25th, 2007 11:27 amMerry Christmas, Home skillets! I hope everyone is having a good morning/day/evening/if you're in the UK and watching Voyage of the Damned I'm horribly jealous of you.
The morning so far has been pretty calm. We opened presents. My brother got me Doctor Who: The Inside Story, which is so awesome (He got me a couple other things too, which I love, but OMG DOCTOR WHO), and I'm sure will have me screaming from plenty of idiotic Rusty quotes. I can't wait. :) I also got The Sontaran Experiment (I had been wanting to watch it before S4, so YAY) and Lost In Time: Patrick Troughton years (*clings to Two, Jamie, and Zoe*)(God, Martha would have been good with Two)
We didn't get around to opening Christmas Eve presents until 11 or so last night, so I didn't get to play with the Wii, but this morning we got My Sims, Mario Galaxy, and something else, but I don't remember what. Meg played with Sims for a while, it seems like fun. I was going to play next but Danny wanted to watch Live Free Or Die Hard, so I came upstairs to check on you all. Also, to take a nap. I am le tired. We have to be at my grandma's by 4, so I should probably get on that if I want to have time to shower as well.

I've got all my presents wrapped and under the tree, I watched a Christmas episode of Justice League (it wasn't even on purpose, I just popped the DVD in and it was the next one to watch, my timing is awesome!), we opened our family Christmas Eve movies (I guessed them all right \O/), now we're waiting for my dad to get home from work so we can eat. And then open the present from our grandparents. They got us a Wii! I'm so excited. It's been sitting there for weeks, and all I've wanted to do is open it and play, and now we get too!
Unless my mom decides to cancel Christmas because my brother messed up at school. It wouldn't be Christmas unless my mom had something to be pissed about.
Hmm... I should probably straighten up my room. It's pretty messy, and it would make her happy.
Anywho, hope everyone is having a great day!

Short Mexico wrap up.
Dec. 22nd, 2007 04:46 pmMexico was a ton of fun. The flights there and back were horribly long, but I had books and my iPod to keep me entertained. We stayed at Los Tules, a resort on the beach. It was nice. The oven didn't work and the beds were a little on the firm side, but it was a thirty second walk to a warm sandy beach, so I didn't mind. The restaurant at the place was good, we ate dinner there almost every night. Ummm... We really didn't do much. We hung out at the beach and took the bus down to the boardwalk a couple of times. That's about it. There was a grocery store and mall across the street and we went there a bunch to look around and, you know, buy food and soda. I didn't get sick! That was awesome. And I managed not to get sunburned until we'd been there for four days. And even then it's just my back. Which hurts, but at least it isn't all over, like my poor sister got. So yeah, it was good times.
We went and got a Christmas tree today. My mom is putting lights on right now and we're all going to decorate it later. I'm working through some of my flist, but I'd appreciate it if you'd link me to anything awesome I might have missed, so I don't accidentally skim over it. Or any fun wank or spoilers. A week is FOREVER in fandom time.

Dec. 21st, 2007 09:31 pmI'M HOME! Yay! I missed you guys! I'm exhausted, but I wanted to check in and let you guys know I'm still alive. I'll do a big post tomorrow all about the hotel and my sunburn and standing in front of Jared Leto at LAX. I'll probably never get caught up on my flist, but when I get back from Christmas shopping tomorrow I'll see what I can do. I'm sure I missed all sorts of great stuff. Not to mention any awesome/lame show spoilers I missed out on by being gone for a week.

Dec. 14th, 2007 08:58 pmSo I was shaving my legs and I nicked myself, and I didn't think much of it, but when I looked down at my ankle a couple minutes later my whole foot was red and the water looked like something from Jaws. It's not deep at all, but man can this fucker bleed. I changed bandaids twice before I had to put a gauze pad on first. Crazy.
Also, if you go to the BBC Doctor Who website, and click on the 14th for the advent calendar, you can see a one and a half minute trailer for Voyage of the Damned. ( I don't want to spoil you for anything... )

Dec. 10th, 2007 08:51 pmGuys, today is my brother's 18th birthday. That is CRAZY! I can't believe he's old enough to buy porn. We had a party and birthday dinner for him last night because he has to work today. He got some pretty cool stuff. I got him a Red Baron VCR game, that has no directions so I hope when we put the VCR in it has the directions. It looks kind of dumb, but I saw it at a second hand store and thought it would be funny. I got him a couple other things too, but that's the interesting one.
I'm leaving for Mexico in less than a week, and I am so far from ready it isn't even funny. I have no idea what I'm taking, I need to clean my room, I'm pretty sure I need to see if I can find some tank tops someplace, I've never been out of the country (well, okay, Canada, but they still speak English there, so it wasn't a big deal) and I'm freaking out a little. My Spanish is HORRIBLE, and I know I'm going to feel like a moron.
In non-freaking out news, if this rumor comes true, I will be so happy I might pee my pants.
