Eugene was pretty good. We stayed with my mom's aunt and uncle in Vida. They have a great house right on the McKenzie River. Their basement is basically an apartment. There's a little kitchen and everything. And a pool table.

We had a birthday lunch for my great-grandma (GG) on Sunday. It was fun to see family members I hadn't seen for a while. My cousin, Patrick, has abandoned me and gotten his drivers license. Now I'm all alone in my lameness. It was sad though. GG was moved into a nursing home a few months ago. She's not sick, but she is old and needs a wheelchair and oxygen. Her memory is failing too. She asked my dad who the man was sitting next to him and when he explained that it was my brother she acted like she didn't believe him. She also asked if Steven had a girlfriend. Steven is her grandson who's been married for about twenty years. It's one of those things where you have to laugh or you'll end up crying.

It's hard for my mom. She had a pretty crummy childhood and her grandmother pretty much raised her, so they're close. She goes down almost every weekend to spend time with her. I was glad I got to go down and see her one last time.

And the Ducks won. That's always going to make my family happy. :)

And I totally forgot that in the second season Suzee is played by Rebecca Herbst, who went on to play Elizabeth Spencer on General Hospital.

ETA: Aww, Someone made a Catalina video to a song from Zenon. That person is my new best friend.

If Sam is Buffy and Bobby is Giles, who does that make Dean?

Xander? Willow? Cordelia? Gay Larry?

Does this mean they're going to kill off Jin? Because they do sort of have this pattern of doing that.

I HAVE A NEW POWER CORD! WOO!! THE LAPTOP IS MINE!

I'm still alive. I still haven't gotten a new cord for my laptop. Dell is being slow emailing me back. It went so fast last time. It's been almost a week and they still haven't shipped me a new one. Lame, Dell. Lame.

I'm housesitting for some people who live in our neighbourhood. Watching their little dachshund, Wilson. He's very cute. They have Tivo, which is lovely. Except everything on the cable channels is on east coast time, so that's throwing me off a little, BUT I can Tivo it, so it's all good. ;) And they have wonderful channels that I don't have, like Bravo and BBC America. I watched a few eps of Project Runway on Sunday and OMG, I heart that show so hard. WHY DON'T I HAVE BRAVO AT HOME? Anyway, they do have internet access, but it's upstairs away from the food and the TV, so I'm not online very often, plus, I'm afraid they'll know I went on livejournal and find my page, and oh my god, I don't want that to happen. So I'm stuck just using it here while I'm at work. And then I have to go to skip 9 million just to check my friends, so if I'm not really commenting, that's why. I haven't even looked at my communities since last Wednesday. That's a little scary.

Great interview or THE GREATEST INTERVIEW?

This is my canon now. Spoilers for S4 companion stuff.

So, let's say someone wanted to read the Eighth Doctor novels. Is it worth it to buy them? I know that my library doesn't have them, so I don't really have any way to get them other than purchasing them, but would that be a waste of money? Am I missing an important part of my soul by not experiencing Fitz?

PS: I kind of love David Shuster. And by kind of, I mean I do. A lot.

I'll do an SGA and FNL post tomorrow. I'm just not really up to it tonight.
