I got Quest on 360 and The Daily Show tonight! Awesome! I could listen to Jon do his Queen impression all day. In other Daily Show news, John Oliver is forever my correspondent boyfriend.

I'm a fan of Stephen's purple stripey tie. Doctor Who reference FTW! I want to know who Stephen's favorite Doctor is. NOT THE SPIDER THING AGAIN! DAMN YOU THREAT DOWN, NOW I'LL NEVER SLEEP.

God, these posts are random. I'd apologize, but I don't really care.

In case anyone was wondering, I know what my brother's conversation with my dad was about. It was about siphoning water off the tarp on my dad's boat. See. Not nearly as interesting as what we were all thinking. *g* I'm still going to slash him with his friend.

Should The Governator pardon Paris Hilton? Dear lord, I hope that doesn't happen. Paris in jail is AWESOME.

It's wrong to slash my brother with his friend, right? I overheard this conversation today:

Brother on the phone with Dad: No dad. I suck on it and Stephen sticks it in.

Dad: *says something on the phone*

Brother: I'm not going to get any diseases, Dad. I don't swallow.

I have NO CLUE what they were talking about, and to be honest, I don't really want to know. There's no way it's as interesting.

Today was productive. Kind of. I had an appointment at the optometrist at 11:45 this morning. I haven't been in four years. My prescription has changed a little. Unfortunately, they didn't have one of the lenses they needed and they'll take about a week to get here, so you'll get pictures of me being spexy next week. The cool thing is that because our new insurance has super nifty great vision coverage my glasses only cost $90, so I could get prescription sunglasses. I haven't had sunglasses since the ninth grade. They were only supposed to take two hours to finish so my mom and I decided to do more shopping.

We went to Bed, Bath and Beyond and I ended up buy a new remote for our television. A GIANT REMOTE! My dad has been having a hard time seeing the buttons on the remote and this remote is GIGANTIC. It's the Jared Padalecki of remote controls. Then we ended up wandering around Barnes and Noble for a while, but we didn't buy anything. I know. Shocking. We go back to LensCrafters and the sunglasses aren't done yet, they need 15 more minutes. So we go wander around Suncoast for a while. FYI: Gummi Bears is on DVD! Who knew? When we get back there they tell us that there was some problem with the tinting and they need to redo one of the lenses. We just decided to go get them at some point tomorrow. I'm sad though. I wanted my sunglasses now.

We finally got home around 3:30. And then I got to watch the Giants lose. :(

*waves hi to the new people on my flist* Nice to meet you all. Whenever I get new people on my list I try to do a Things You Don't Know About Me thingy. It's starting to get hard to find new things that are remotely interesting, but I attempt it.

Five Things You Might Not Know About Me

1. I talk about my love for Keith, Jon, Stephen, and Anderson all the time. My dirty secret? I have a crush on Joe Scarborough. Yes he's a Republican, but I don't really care all that much. Have you seen him in glasses? Hello!

2. Another obsession I don't talk much about: Dan Patrick. I don't even like sports all that much. I mean, I really love baseball, and football is pretty awesome, but I don't follow them like a crazy person. I still listen to the Dan Patrick Show every day when I'm at work. He's pretty much one of the most awesome men on the planet.

3. I had a cheese quesadilla for dinner.

4. I took three years of Spanish in high school and a year and a half in college, but now I can barely conjugate ir. I've started going through my old Spanish books so I can relearn it. I think everyone should be able to speak at least one language other than their native one.

5. I haven't seen Thursday's Grey's Anatomy yet, so don't tell me what happened, but I'm all about the ( cutting for people who maybe don't know about this )

Well, there are five things. I don't know how interesting they are, but two of them didn't have anything to do with television, so I'm proud.

You go on Youtube to find one little clip and the next thing you know you've spent over an hour watching Anderson Cooper clips. AGAIN. (Being afraid of frogs never gets old)

I'd never seen this Letterman interview before. It should be illegal to be this cute.

One non-spoilery thing about American Idol. I love how Jordin was like this gorgeous giant Amazon woman compared to itty bitty Ryan Seacrest last night.

Guys, tonight is Bon Jovi night on Idol, and I don't think I can properly express my excitement. It's either going to be awesome or horrific. Either way, I WIN! My mom has to go to a wedding tonight, so she's going to miss it. Poor mom. She's been waiting for Bon Jovi to show up for like a month.

Anyway, Happy May Day. I can't believe it's already May. Crazy.
